Nurturing Spiritual Growth In the Everyday Moments

As a mama to a toddler and twins born just 14 months apart (yes, it’s as exhausting as it sounds), I'm right in the think of it with you! This cozy corner is where chaos meets calling as we embrace the beautiful mess of motherhood with grace and spiritual intention. From middle-of-the-night moments to chaotic, never-ending snack times, this is a place to pause and remember that God's grace is abundant, and He is present in the ordinary moments of faith and family life.

Whether you are deep in diapers, drowning in laundry, or simply searching for another mom who gets it—welcome. You are not alone, and you’re doing better than you think.

This is a space for the everyday moments of motherhood—from sleepless nights and snack negotiations to spiritual growth and figuring out what’s for dinner (again)—with practical tips, encouragement, and honest reflections woven throughout.

Why Rooted & Running?

Rooted speaks to a spiritual foundation. It reflects my desire to keep my identity, focus, and purpose anchored in Christ and His truth. It’s about living with intention instead of just getting through the day—relying on the Lord’s strength and building a life on something eternal rather than fleeting.

Running reflects the reality of motherhood. It’s the busy, active, sometimes exhausting rhythm of everyday life—chasing kids, managing a home, and juggling a lot at once. But it also points to something deeper: a life of endurance and purpose, like running a race that actually matters. It’s choosing to see motherhood not just as a list of tasks (even though the to-do list is quite long), but as a meaningful calling.

Together, Rooted & Running is the kind of faith I want to live out—deeply rooted in truth while still growing, becoming, and fixing my eyes on Jesus in the middle of the chaos. I don’t live this out perfectly as some days are harder than others, but by God’s grace, it’s the posture I’m continually learning to return to.
